Behind the Seams

I would like to share a podcast interview with you. It explores my experiences as the author of the Quilting Cozy series. Enjoy!

Behind the Seams: An Interview with Carol Dean Jones

I hope you have found the podcast interesting, whether you are a current reader or perhaps a potential reader. It was fun to do, and it gave me a new perspective on my writing since it encouraged me to look at the process in ways I hadn’t done before. Roxane’s questions lead me to some interesting insights. I’d love to hear what you think. Please leave your comments below or send me an email: QuiltingCozy@gmail.com. I love hearing from my readers (and potential readers).

I’m debating whether to continue the series or perhaps spin off one of the characters. Thoughts?

Book #11, Beneath Missouri Stars, as well as the other ten books in the series, are currently available in print and eBook from the publisher, C&T Publishing, and from Amazon as well as book stores and quilt shops nationwide.

I would also like to hear how your life has changed as a result of the Pandemic. I’ve been primarily home for the past months with food delivered to my front porch. Being in my eighties, I’m high risk and am being cautious.

Interestingly, I haven’t been able to write. My mind just won’t go there. Stress, I guess. But I’m having a great time in the quilting room. I’m still making baby quilts that may (or may not) appear on Etsy.com someday.

So, I look forward to hearing from you. Take good care.

Carol

  1. You should carry on Sara and Sophie’s stories. Maybe you could do a story within a story to start another series. I love the books as they are a delight!

  2. Hello Carol😀. I loved your podcast as well as this months blog. Glad your interview gave you new insights & maybe new directions in your writing. We all await your next cozy novel with baited breath💓

  3. Really enjoyed your podcast. Fun to learn more about the writer! I hope you will continue to write about Sarah, Charles, and Sophie . . . as one of your readers has said, they seem like family and I wonder what kind of “trouble” they will find in the next book.

  4. Well done interview……it’s always nice to have NEW insights into an OLD hobby or interest. You’ve been quilting for a long time and there’s always something new coming along to keep things fresh. Good job sister!

    Love you, Pam
