Exciting News! Sarah and Sophie are at it again…

Beneath Missouri Stars (book #11 in the quilting cozy series) will be released by C&T Publishing in May. To preorder from Amazon at the guaranteed price, click here: Beneath Missouri Stars: a quilting cozy.

A renowned country music singer schedules a private concert at the Cunningham Village Retirement Community, but when a young woman is murdered, Sarah and her cohorts are hot on the case.

Aging with grace and spunk, Sarah takes on everything from quilting and friendship to murders and the demands of the twenty-first century with aplomb in this fun cozy mystery series.

And, as always, this eleventh installment of the quilting cozy mystery series, offers lots of quilting and includes the pattern for the cover quilt.

I apologize for the past six weeks of blog silence. I’ve been very busy, but you might be pleased with what I’ve been busy doing. I’ll just give you this one hint: Beneath Missouri Stars may not be the last you see of Sarah and Sophie!

I want to welcome all my new followers. When you have a few minutes, please read through some of my previous blogs where I’ve not only talked about the books but also my own quilting. (See Menu for Blog Posts).

I wish you incredible holidays and please keep the emails coming. I love hearing from my readers and blog followers. Leave comments below or just drop me a line on QuiltingCozy@gmail.com.

My very best wishes to all,

  1. Thank you so much for taking time out for all of us. You are definitely a special lady in many ways. Let us know when baby quilts may be available. We are well, and hope the very same for you. A friend, Carolyn

    • Hi Carolyn,
Happy to hear from you. Yes, I’m doing fine…my puppies and I are making the best of our private time. I’m just a bit reclusive myself so this staying home isn’t all bad, at least for me. Hope you are doing well. I’ll post the baby quilts one of these days. I’m way behind on blogging but plan to get to that this week. Book #12 is scheduled for release in May…not sure if the world situation might detain publication. Anyway, nice hearing from you and thank you for your kind words.
      Very best wishes,
      Carol

      • Thank you.   Am looking forward to getting this.   I, too, am a bit reclusive, I love to study history and God’s Word;  and connect with friends who do that too, and do cooking for my husband and myself.   So I have been mostly content during this time of safe sheltering.   Of course I’m nearly 77 so that probably has a bit to do with it too, (LOL) but I do love the sanctuary of home.  I miss seeing my wonderful family, daughters, son, granddaughters, and great grandson.    I still see my mama (just turned 95) a day or so a week.  She and my sister share a home, so my sister has become her main care giver.   Try and relieve her as much as possible.   Didn’t mean to bend your ear…but, again thank you for getting back with me.

  2. Hi Carol. I too have read everyone of these and have loved them. You are a talented writer. Am looking so forward to May and the release of this book. I am wondering if it may also be ordered for kindle. I have all of the others on my kindle, and I enjoy reading on it. Again, thank you for writing another book for all of us. Carolyn Aubert

    • Hi Carolyn, It’s so good to hear from you. It’s been a while and I hope you are doing well and staying safe. Yes, as always Amazon will have it on Kindle. There will be one more but I don’t know when it’s coming out…probably not for many months. I’ve been inside for over four weeks, having food delivered, and spending my time sewing. I’ve been making baby quilts and am thinking about opening an Etsy.com shop for them. Hope all is well on your end. This too will pass!
      Fondly,
      Carol (QuiltingCozy@gmail.com)

  3. So happy to hear this news.   Your quilting is awesome, but…so is your writing.   Will certainly be looking forward to Sarah and Sophie once again.   I have read all of your books to date, and enjoy them immensely.   So again, looking forward to this publication in May.

    • Hi Carolyn, I so appreciate the loyalty you have shown over the years. When I’m writing, it’s just me and my computer, and it’s such a reward to hear from readers who enjoy the books and continue to stand by me. My very best wishes to you, Carolyn. Have great holidays and I look forward to hearing how you like the book. (QuiltingCozy@gmail.com). Carol

  4. Please keep the series coming. It is the perfect reading as I crawl in bed at night to relax before bed. I’ve loved each one!
