I’ve been playing with border prints, my 60-degree equilateral triangle ruler, and Bunnie Cleland’s Triangle Frenzy Swirl pattern.
These table toppers have been fun to make and are extremely easy.Β Once the tops were done, I simply stacked them with batting and backing, stitched and turned them, and followed the lines in the pattern as a quilting guide.Β The bottom two were done with just six of the triangles without the connecting piece.
Okay friends, now you know what you’re getting for Christmas in 2018!
I want the table topper with the red cardinals. Christmas is now. Carol Dean, you are just so talented with your books and quilting. I am anxiously awaiting book eleven.
Good Morning my friend, I’m so happy to see you here on my website. Thank you for your lovely comments and I’ll surely get to a Book #11 one of these days. So you want the red cardinals, huh? Perhaps…
No, no, no! THAT one is MINE!!! I just overslept and didn’t get my order in earlier!!! ππππππππππππ
Sorry, but I won’t be making any more cardinal ones (or any other creatures for that matter). I had to fussy cut each piece individually so that none of my birds got their heads cut off!
What a gorgeous way to make good use of our dreary weather this winter! Love the colors!! Judy
Yes, this has certainly made the days more cheerful. Snow in April? This is crazy….but surely spring will get here. Thanks for stopping by my website and leaving a comment. Have a great day. Carol
Super clever “design” for a topper…..they’re really beautiful and each one has such a unique look. Well done sister!
Love, Pam
Thank you sister. I’m having a great time making these…it’s time to go shopping for more border prints. You just might find one in your stocking!
I would be most happy to find one in my stocking OR on my table! β€
Carol, I love your toppers! Especially the red one! What a neat idea.
And so easy! I was amazed and am envisioning all the other things that can be done with this 60-degree template. Thank you, Fiona, for staying in touch. Carol
Carol,
These are neat. I love border prints. Iβm also loving your book series. On the third one now. Keep up the good work!

Hi Suzie, I’m actually playing with border prints for the first time and I see lots of possibilities. I want to thank you for your comments about the series. I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. I had fun writing them and my characters feel like good friends. I hoping to add a #11. Best wishes. Carol
Absolutely beautiful table toppers Carol.
Thank you, Carolyn. It’s amazing how quickly they go together.
